Our Story
Since 1975, Scenic Living Communities has been dedicated to providing exceptional senior living and healthcare services in a warm, family-centered environment. Founded by Wayne and Marlene Anderson, Scenic Living began with a vision to create a community where seniors could receive compassionate, personalized care while feeling truly at home.
What started with the opening of Scenic Manor Skilled Nursing & Long-Term Care has grown into a comprehensive senior living campus offering multiple levels of care and support. Over the years, Scenic Living Communities has expanded to meet the evolving needs of seniors and their families throughout Iowa Falls, Franklin County, and surrounding communities.
A Full Continuum of Senior Living & Care
Scenic Manor Skilled Nursing & Long-Term Care remains the foundation of our community. With 77 licensed beds and 24-hour skilled nursing care, Scenic Manor is Medicare and Medicaid certified and provides personalized long-term care, rehabilitation services, and healthcare support designed around each resident's unique needs.
In 1992, Cedar Ridge Independent Living was added to provide active seniors with a maintenance-free lifestyle while preserving the independence they value. Offering one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and efficiency apartment options, Cedar Ridge allows residents to enjoy retirement without the responsibilities of homeownership. Optional services such as dining, housekeeping, laundry, and transportation provide additional convenience and peace of mind.
In 2002, Ashbrook Assisted Living expanded the continuum of care with 41 private apartments and personalized support services. Residents benefit from assistance with daily activities, medication management, dining services, transportation, life enrichment programs, and 24-hour staffing while maintaining as much independence as possible.
In 2005, Oak Terrace Town Homes were introduced to offer seniors an independent homeownership option with fewer maintenance responsibilities. Residents enjoy services such as lawn care, snow removal, window washing, maintenance support, and other conveniences that make everyday living easier and more enjoyable.
